BATI joins hOurworld timebank system

After considering many options, the hOurworld system was chosen as a replacement for the CES time bank system used by our predecessor, the Waldo County Community Exchange. For the BATI Time Bank to become operational, the Local Economy group now needs a few more people interested in earning Hours making that happen by:
- helping people participate
- producing publicity and events
- operating the time bank software.

Waldo County Community Exchange joins BATI
As decided during the last "Kitchen Cabinet" meeting of the Waldo County Community Exchange on Oct. 14, 2011, transfer of all records and assets to BATI was completed on Oct. 17.
BATI's Local Economy subcommittee is currently investigating a replacement for the CES accounting system used by WCCE. Options include joining various existing time bank systems,
the Life Currency Cooperative Exchange , using HeyNeighbor MicroFavors, or setting up
our own Cyclos exchange system.
